Gun locks have some niche use cases. I've used one a handful of times for family get togethers where I'm visiting a relative's house, the place is crawling with a mixed bag of kids, and it wasn't feasible to keep an eye on my carry piece.

I think the last time I was waist deep inside cabinetry all afternoon and there was no way in heck I was doing that with a Glock digging into my spleen.

Now if it's my own house...y'all can learn gun safety or y'all can leave, because nothing's locked and everything's loaded.

I usually just put it somewhere high up. Anyone tall enough to reach it should have the wherewithal to leave it be.
