Either owning guns is a protected right or it isn't. Distinguishing allowable guns from non allowable guns only ensures that all guns will eventually be illegal. Like freedom of speech: you either have it or you do not.

They elicit examples they can trot out showing how horrible certain guns are and attempt to ban only bad scary guns. Next, they lower the bar to less scary guns, then specific accessories. They never talk about people killing people, rather they focus on the gun aspect.

The Second Amendment does not contain any language in it that distinguishes one type of firearm from another. It does not exclude any "arms" at all and neither does it classify what "arms" are in the first place. They are really desperate to disarm us and will make up unconstitutional bullshit like this to justify it.
