Personally, if I wanted a smaller weapon, I'd use a PCC or a small caliber smg. I get the appeal of a ballpup, but would rather stick to PCC for close quarter combat, for a lot of reasons.

Don't need one and don't know why I want one, just do. Also want a large frame wheelgun also not very useful from a PDF standpoint.

I guess this is what happens after you get the bases all covered. I mean I did until that boat incident.

Tavor has serious flaws, accidental mag drop is just one. I will be buying an AUG as my truck gun. The main reasons are years of dependable service with the Austrian Army, has a blast plate under the stock jic of an out of battery issue, the quick change barrel is handy from 16 to 24, they are releasing a 300BLK version that only needs a barrel swap, and can use STANG magazines.

good enough i guess for a range toy. I don't know if it is enough to bet my life. The VHS (or Hellion) is a Main battle rifle, I'd like to see a few more deployments I am sure it will be great as Croatia has some talent.

Was never a fan of bullpups.

  1. Don't like the idea of a mag and firing mechanism being that close to my face.

  2. It's about working radius while not sacrificing velocity leroy. Why is your first thought recoil? Projection?

  1. Blowing your face off takes you and 2 men that will carry you back to base out of the fight. All that being said, not a single bullpup system has been roughly field tested as AK and AR to be considered reliable.

  1. If you think you need a shorter rifle for something, get a pistol for that. You are a lot easier to disarm in CQB if you're using a rifle. If you are really thinking about being ready for CQB, get grenades.
