I have it in my head I need a tactical lever gun. I don't know why, but the idea tickles my imagination. The Henry already has the threaded barrel and the pistol grip. I'd add a skeleton butt stock and mlock fore end. I'd most likely go with a 357, and possibly a S & W 627 or 327 as a matching side arm.

I've used a mossberg 464 in 30-30. VERY underrated weapon. I actually prefered it to the Winchester and Henry I've fired in the past. Sadly I don't think they're making them new anymore, and I don't think they come in .357. But if you can get your hands on one of the tactical models (you'll know it when you see it), you won't regret it, as long as you don't mind using 30-30

I have heard must about Mossberg levers, have not had a chance to try one. I have a Winchester in 30/30, as a truck/pig gun. This one would be a range toy, and staged in the house for security.
