I have it in my head I need a tactical lever gun. I don't know why, but the idea tickles my imagination. The Henry already has the threaded barrel and the pistol grip. I'd add a skeleton butt stock and mlock fore end. I'd most likely go with a 357, and possibly a S & W 627 or 327 as a matching side arm.

Have you tried the Hornaday Leverevolution in 357? I've tried the 30/30 and it has doubled (halved?) the accuracy at 200yards. I believe you can just get the bullets to do reloading. I am curious if they do the same in other calibers.

I usually just shoot cast bullets. It also shoots military .38 FMJ pretty well too, although both are really only good for about 100yds. (18 1/4" bbl length) Never tried the Hornady rounds. I'll pick some up and see...
