I have the Marlin 60 and it is an amazing rifle, super accurate. I put a scope on it, but ended up taking it off, its fun as hell to shot with the sights and drives nails.

Those are great rifles. I have a 10/22 myself, fun, too. There's nothing like a good 22 just for making noise and enjoying a bit of shootin' pleasure.

My dad has 10/22 take down, it's a decent gun as well, but the cost a bit more too.

Yeah, I bought mine ... just a standard model ... back when they were still relatively new on the market and pretty competitively priced. It's old and looks it now, but I've had a lot of good times with it. I can't believe how much they've gone up in price though.
