Any good organizations? Looking at contracts (fine print), every one I've seen is actually junk.

Most of them state that they won't cover your defense if you are charged with a crime, which is the whole reason you need legal defense.

At least some of them require you to waive attorney-client privileges by forcing you to communicate with 'benefits' departments.

Most of them can demand repayment for your defense if you are convicted (or you accept a plea deal).

Many of them don't allow you to choose your own attorney.

Others have stipulations for things such as having alcohol in your blood.

The insurance sounds great, but they all have a way to completely fuck you over from what I've seen so far.

I read the contract. They're one of the few with adequate coverage to take a self-defense shooting all the way through a criminal trial AND not try to screw you by making you repay them if you get railroaded.

I was stuck in a hospital waiting room for an entire day with eff all to do once and did exhaustive research and made a spreadsheet. CCWSafe was the best by far. Other competitors like USCCA have weasel-fuckery like defending you well in the criminal trial...but they pick your attorney for liability suits and can settle for you. Which is life ruining bullshit if you win the criminal trial but then have your reputation ruined forever by them settling a liability lawsuit rather than telling some dindu nuffin's family that you're going to trial and will bankrupt them with slander suits if they claim their future scholar was murdered by you when he broke into your bedroom with an axe.

Other options tend to have inadequate coverage or worse weaseling where they decide if it was a righteous shoot BEFORE choosing to cover you, or only cover home invasions, or only your home state
