I think that the .380 round if a hollow-point wold suffice to kill an aggressor, if the round struct the forehead or medulla area. Otherwise, the .380 rounds are only a mild deterrent to a crackhead or enraged attacker. I propose an experiment: line up several useless obsolete farm implements at about 15 feet distance from the shooter. Begin with a .380 round, then increase the size of the bullet for each succeeding black stain upon Mother Earth. So, .380 for number one, then up to a .50 caliber for the last. Compare results. Then scrape all targets into a pit and cover; finally plant cotton on the freshly turned earth with fertilizer below.
