Fuck Springfield, they been fucking over IL gun owners for the last year.
Bill got introduced that added more licensing fees for FFL holders in IL, Springfield managed to lobby themselves an exception in the bill along with Rock Island Armory.
They never made another peep about said bill while simultaneously risking the small business FFLs, gun owner's ability to exercise their 2nd amendment rights.
The bill got pushed this year again after FL, passed the house and senate, ended up getting vetoed because Rauner was about to lose his incumbent spot for Governor.
Fuck Springfield and Rock Island. I will never forget.
Whats their excuse for being exempt? If they can be exempt why not everyone else? So much favoritism and rules for thee going on anymore, its a travesty. The law applies equally to ALL or nothing at all, imo
Because if they didn't get carved an exception you would still see them lobbying against it. Nearly guaranteeing that the bill wouldn't pass.
