Minutes? Yea like, 120 of them. I was the first one to come across a really bad head on collision on the highway maybe 2 minutes from town, took about 30 minutes for the first cop to show up, not even an ambulance or firetruck. One lady dead on the spot and the other guy crushed and stuck in his truck leaking gas. I had to just stand there and try and keep him calm so he didnt hurt himself more trying to get out, reassure him that id get him out before he burned if it caught on fire.
Not even a thank you from the cops either before i left the scene
Stories like this are a good damn argument that we need to go back to citizen police. Maybe even citizen fire departments.
Yea, people who have a passion for helping others do much better than people who just want a paycheck and to go home. I have a general dislike for both cops and most young military people, they are almost all in it for the totaly wrong reasons. The punks that become cops want power and control over the lowly peons, and the kids that join the military just have no idea what to do with life and have been sold lie after lie, so they join the military, which is just a new mommy daddy to tell them what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, they join for the free school, to see new exciting places. But they need to be joining to protect and uphold the constitution, to protect the country, and to be the best they can be for the sake of the people and the country. Little todd and little susy have no guts for doing what is necessary in times of war, so they become one of a million sitting in a computer room spying on american citizens and violating rights, because they want free shit and have no clue what else to do with life.
And little susy when she joins, finds the first dick she can milk a baby out of and BOOM no more possibility of actually having to do something dangerous.
