I got a Henry youth 22 for my son and the sights (plastic) won't adjust for even a medium velocity round.
New metal and fully adjustable sights are 60%the cost of the rifle. It collects dust while he shoots the savage mark ii. It's not the best made rifle overall, but it's a great shooter.
I prefer marlin, but they're getting very expensive. Well what isn't?

At least Marlins are finally good again. As for Henry, I don't know much about base models or youth models, as I tend to buy their premium options. My horn and bead sights are dead accurate and easily adjustable, but I understand some people dislike that style.
