I am right handed and I have found that I prefer to carry my IWB holster in the right kidney position. Appendix carry didn't feel good to me and I didn't like where the bore was pointed. The problem is that the draw seemed a little awkward from the right kidney location. Then I got the bright idea to try it with a left hand holster. This solved the problem. Am I late to the game here? Am I the last one to figure this out? Drawing from the right appendix carry with a left handed holster works very well for me. Your mileage may vary...

I carry in the waistband cross draw. Remora brand sleeve. It is on my left side in the front with the grip resting just above the belt buckle. 1911 compact in .45acp
