I had an argument with a guy at work several years ago and I basically won. Him and I were discussing guns and he's like no one needs an AR-15 with 30 round and blah blah blah. I told him it has nothing to do about need in this country. It's about want. No one needs an iphone. They want them. Then we continue ( I'm severely shortening this btw) and he starts by telling me some of the things I don't need to which I respond you're right but I work hard and that's what I bought cuz I wanted it. Then here's the final kicker where I cornered him. So the guy was also a foster parent. Anyways he always drove a V8 SUV to work everyday. I asked, why didn't he drive a more fuel efficient mini van to tote those kids around and be nicer on the planet. He said, I didn't want a mini van, I wanted an SUV. That's when I looked at him and said, that's my point. His attitude about guns changed after that.
