I saw a video of them doing it in the Philippines in a little grass hut. It only took them a few days to have a working .45 semi auto.
Oh wait , that's it i think. Lol im way out on the specifics then - i saw it awhile ago. Fairly certain the price was $450 tho. A few days/ 3 or 4 weeks ??, i guess at point whatdoesitmatter.
Found it: 12 hours a day a father and his 2 sons can make 5 handguns a month for $115 each. So roughly 6 days a gun with no days off. Mainly 1911’s.
As another poster stated, you only need a couple of rounds to get someone else’s. I don’t think these would last more then 100 rounds top.
Maybe it was time lapsed but they had it built and racking the slide and test during it really quickly.
The only reason I remember it is be my sister is from the Philippines and had a rice business and I was joking about if she knew of a village where I could send money to start up my own gun import operation.
Yes, thats it, holy heck weird i have a false memory of $450 per gun ??.
Yeah, wonder what the working life of one of those pieces are. I doubt they're doing range time , so really just doing the taking out trash business end. !00 rounds then is prob fair trade off for $115
