Anytime I order bulk ammo, the boxes are always very dirty on the outside. If you touch the cardboard box it came in, your hand comes away black with what I presume is carbon. It's the same for all retailers, manufacturers, etc.

I dont see this with other orders. E.g. if I order a toaster, the box isnt filthy. Why is this?

I had a plausible answer but then realized you're dealing with what are ostensibly new ammo boxes. So idk. Carbon most likely
