Electronic lock, I'll pass. What happens when the batteries are dead and the power is out?
My shitty "honey the loaded guns are in a safe because kids are here" safe has a manual override key for just such a scenario I would imagine that larger ones do too.
Makes sense. I just see more ways in than mechanical if it can also be controlled electronically. Think of the recent trend from tic tok where they are stealing KIA's and Hundai's using a USB cable? 100% dial mechanical is the safest imo. You have to cut into those because who the heck is a legit safe cracker anymore anyway? Electric and a key open two more avenues in.
Most don't
Funny because this thing is a real piece of shit that I could probably get into with a kitchen cleaver.
Normally there is a manual bypass. My safe has one.
You put a new battery in
If you can access it from the outside, so can they. It's more about, how many different ways in.
Your run of the mill crackhead isn't going to have whatever device you think will open a safe from the outside. Someone who has access to such fanciful technology probably doesn't want to steal your shotgun and glock
