Edit: looking for your favorite .223

Looking for a rifle for pests. Threaded barrel for a suppressor Semiautomatic

Open to other small calibers but must be able to slap a suppressor on it.

Haven’t hunted in twenty years.

Any suggestions?

You're not going to have much luck finding a semi-auto that's suppressor ready in .22wmr. Bolt action, the Ruger American.

If you're not completely set on a rifle, the keltec PMR30 and an aftermarket threaded barrel would be a nice setup.

*edit - just saw your edit. Ruger Mini14. Then give it the A-Team treatment.

That’s a pretty gun.

Just going the AR route, I guess. Interchangeable, light, blah blah blah. Why aren’t all guns AR’s?

I'm glad every gun isn't an AR. There's just something about wood and metal together that's appealing.

Exactly..that's why I still have my 700BDL .270 since the early 80's. That glossy stock & barrel, there's just something about a traditional rifle.
