turkey hunt throw down some corn and wait in a darked garage when they get busy eating pow pow
If you're using a predator call to bring them up to a blind, it might work. Longer range shots, maybe at a moving target, would be difficult or foolhardy in my opinion. My question is why? Are you wanting to hunt urban-dwelling coyotes?
I live on a small farm with no neighbors. This morning, I had a coyote in one the meadows trying to kill mice. It was adorable.
If you have no neighbors, just use a real gun. It's more efficient and certainly more humane. Seems to me an under-powered airgun would likely just cause injury and suffering.
……..and they are cool.
I want to be able to fire from my bedroom and not upset my wife or dogs.
No, but I can't see one killing a coyote. They are good for killing rats with a night scope, though.
they make 50 cal air rifles and a guy hunt boars with them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KgWSDVCjzQ
That is amazing! That rifle can also shoot arrows. He can get a clean kill even with a 24 cal.
They even make airguns for big game hunting.
I live in a suburban area but daily I use a .22 air rifle to take care of squirrels, rabbits, crows and groundhogs that try to eat my garden. A larger caliber targeting coyotes sounds fun as hell.
