I posted the same thing a few days ago. Guns are a cash heavy business, even before this bullshit. Even back during the ammo shortage that Barry engineered, people were paying cash for what they could get. I saw armed security guards at the registers at a Calbella's because cashiers were routinely handling $1000+ transactions in cash.

Problem is that guns and ammo are almost double price in the local gun store compared to online.

So go to a local store and ask if you can have a firearm shipped to them to do the 4473. Many of them will try to match the price.

Ammo is my bigger issue. I'm good on guns for now. Can't have anything shipped to them without paying for it first.

So FJB is trying to support local businesses now?

They're trying to push us into local businesses because then the local jurisdictions can pass their own laws restricting gun and ammo sales and create registries.
