SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

Statistically most hand guns take two direct hits to end an encounter with .32 and under taking 3.

If you treat that like a math problem this is the solution: https://pic8.co/sh/EouO8F.jpg

18 shots of 22 is one hell of a shotgun round.

They spread a fair bit too so they also make a rifled shell with 12 rifled barrels.

Yeah not so sure that would be an excellent use of the round. if even highly functional

When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherfucker in the room, accept no substitutes.

Came here because i'm a sucker for shiny clickbait, stayed because of 'my weapon is safe' douchebag finger.

MK203 40mm grenade launcher, you typically see them slung under the barrel of an M16/M4.

Shoots one grenade then must be reloaded by hand.

Unlike the tripod / vehicle mounted version MK19 (other countries have them and call them something else, but essentially the same item) https://vistapointe.net/images/mk-19-grenade-launcher-12.jpg

Probably loaded with a rubber round. Cops use those as a less lethal.

I just want to point out that buying and owning a 40mm fun tube is entirely legal.

The grenades are what require special permissions.

You can launch smoke grenades and anything without a charge out of it without atf trying to sniff your pecker.

I am curious to know if there are any recoil problems.

[–] 1 pt

Not really. Bloop tubes are relatively low pressure / low velocity. The trajectory you aim them at is very much like a rainbow.

When did the finger sticking out become a thing? I spent a year in Vietnam carrying an M16, never saw anyone doing that. We held the pistol grip until we had to shoot.

Feel like it’s a bit of newbie thing?

Granted, with the popularity of compact weapons we don’t really have a place for the trigger finger on the handle anymore and so I usually have my trigger finger parallel to the barrel, kinda hovering over the trigger until I’m ready to shoot. But then I’m a newbie and don’t have as much experience as I wish I had.

Plus if you hover your trigger finger you don’t need to readjust your grip when you decide to put said finger on the trigger.

Again, I don’t know enough.

I carry a S&W 9 shield compact... I have to have the extended mag in it to get the pinky on it, if the trigger finger is extended...

It isnt possible to grip the pistol grip.

As a better reference...

USMC boot camp 1993 -- 4 rules of rifle safety. 1. never point a weapon at anything you dont intend to shoot 2. keep the weapon on safe until you are ready to fire 3. keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire. 4. treat every weapon as if were loaded.

I know they were taught before that from a guy who was an 80s Marine. But 93 is as far back as I can personally guarantee it was taught.

Basic firearms safety. The startle reflex in humans involves reflexively tensing your muscles, including your fingers. If your finger is on the trigger you'll see a negligent discharge far too often.
