Bummer...and I've suggested the mark iv to a lot of folks getting into shooting. Thankfully it's just a small defect in the safety, but a recall never looks good on a product
Great pistol, well worth owning, though I prefer and have the standard model w/o the bull barrel. But this is just a minor deal that will be rectified. I just saw the recall notice and figure it was worth posting because of the popularity.
Pretty much anything Ruger is a safe bet. Although I do think modern 10/22s are grossly over priced
I'm a big Ruger fan. Have a 10/22, a MK III Standard, a Stainless Blackhawk .357 Mag, a .22/.22 Mag Single Six, and I carry an LCP - LOL. I agree with you big time though, they seriously overpriced the new lines of 10/22s. All in all though, Rugers are super quality firearms at a relatively decent price mark, especially of late.
