This is a shitty case, if I were on the Grand Jury I would have opted to let it go to trial. I might have had some sympathy if he was actually in a shootout with someone and just happened to miss his target. In this case he just fired on some random vehicle that he thought the robber had gotten into. I wonder how many BLM types were on the Grand Jury.

I see what you are saying but he intended to kill whoever was in that truck.

The intention, however deluded, was self defense to neutralise a threat. Grand jury bought the reason.
