If I recall correctly, he had two different AR-15s that had a combined value of around $5k. He also had plenty of ammo though I forgot the ammo count. It was easy hundreds of dollars worth of ammo considering today's prices. In addition, he did work part time at Wendy's. I've been assured by other right-wing people on Gab that it is entirely possible for a teenager, in 2022, to easily save up thousands of dollars working part time at a fast food joint because he doesn't have to pay rent.

When I was a teenager working part time for minimum wage at a fast food restaurant, I hardly saved anything because I was a teenager and like hanging out with my friends, which sometimes costed me money. But hey, I guess anything is possible. I just don't believe it.

Teenagers like to spend, say you make $800 a month, going out, buying video games, whatever, that money gets whittled down quick. Unless that guy is going full monk mode, just the course of existing will whittle that $200 paycheck. That's like a week's worth of groceries nowadays.

Totally agree, which is why I still think it's fucking absurd that there are still right-wing people that think it's totally plausible that he saved up more than $5k for guns and ammo.
