Maybe not even that. The truth is the minute you obey the commands or demands of someone who doesn't have your best interests in mind, someone who wants to coerce you, you have lost your rights. Our rights start at the point of a weapon. There they end, and there they begin. That is how it is, how it was, and how it will be. That way, and not some other way. Other people's "policies" or naked self-interested demands dressed up as fancy words on paper, are entirely irrelevant to anyone who is actually free.
