So fun fact, most of the northeast colonies at the time of the constitution were still pretty loyalist, NJ and NYC being two places that come to mind. So really, not a chance in fuck those two areas would EVER follow what's written on paper

That ship sailed with the national firearms act 90 years ago. We haven't had a free or constitutional government since the Civil War, since that was the end of voluntary association for Americans. The Constitution stopped being the willing alliance of free peoples, and became mandatory participation under the threat of war.
