Gun control isn't about rationality or thinking ahead. The people that support gun control have no impulse control and they are ruled by their own emotions. The only thing they understand is that they don't feel safe at this moment in time. They don't know why they don't feel safe, so they bite on the first lure that someone dangles in front of them, thinking that this will be the thing that cures them.

I disagree, ask them and they won't hesitate to say they feel unsafe due to Trump, white school shooters, white domestic terrorists, racist cops... They have all their talking points spoonfed to them by politicians and the media, there isn't really any confusion.
