adoption fees are what $100 maybe and not a fair trade considering the dogs come with lifetime vet bills and food. Guns are a one time cost short of ammo of course.
I wish guns were a one time cost. Most of them require expensive optics and upgrades, not to mention that good owners also stockpile spare parts.
that swap would be cheaper for them, gun buy back programs always run at a loss as people bring in more guns than they have actual cash. especially when they have to buyback guns people make at home depot.
my guess is the shelter is also over flowing with pittbulls
I've heard stories of people going to no kill shelters, adopting a pit, and putting them down. If I had some time and some land that needed fertilizing this seems likes a good source of fertilizer.
