I believe firearm training courses cover this aspect, google 'stress shooting' the plus side being that they tell you what you are doing wrong rather than just telling you what to do, and explain what is going on inside your head so you can recognise stress symptoms and know how to counter it

Thanks for that, I will search it.

Oh, I forgot, one of my kids told me that, that they address it.

Thanks.

carry pepper spray so you have a non lethal deterrent. The Tampa Detective that taught my class said if you pepper spray someone and they still want to fight shoot them.

Man I used to carry it, I wonder about a stun gun.

Walking away is the deterrent. Pepper spray means you're engaged in the confrontation, and if you end up having to use deadly force..... it doesn't look good that you shot a pepper sprayed person.

Tim Pool had a guy on recently pimping his book about the legal aspects of self defence, like what to do when the nigger gets shot 10 times in the back, but the cops aren't buying your true self defence story.

might be just as useful as training

One concealed, one open carry, both with bump stocks. Your trembling will actually help.

My opinion - and it's just that - conceal carry until you are comfortable with your skills. I have no problem with open carry, but it's an advertisement that you will handle situations if they arise. Until you are comfortable with that thought, conceal carry. It gives you the option of responding or not to your level of comfort.

But I can't agree more with the comments - practice, practice, practice... Get training. Then get more. When you are more comfortable and confident, it will become a tool vs. 'a weapon'. It's a big boogeyman in your head right now, but as you become more comfortable, it will take the edge off.

Even trained LEOs will mag dump when stressed. You want to make sure that your skills are such that you will hit what you want to hit, and not spray a general area. Every bullet that leaves your pistol carries a criminal and civil suit attached to it. It's your responsibility to make sure they go where you intended.

(Source: Canadian with US concealed carry permit. Many, many courses. Many hundreds of thousands of training rounds fired.)

Practice on a regular basis

That would help but you know in a real situation it's going to be unpredictable.

What if it makes things worse, gets you killed?

But still, that wouldn't justify going around unarmed.

Maybe God would give you grace in a situation..

I conceal carry, and I never really out much accept to work or the grocery store. I don't talk to people or hardly even look at people. But I carry. The niggers favorite method of attack is an ambush, or the crazy Ivan where one distracts and the other sucker punches you. My best hope is to be un approachable, and to never relax. Get run up on? Brandish. Nigher pulls shirt up? Kill and leave. Never look back. Never lose sleep.

Yeah, they love ambush, any and all deceit, whatever means possible.

They're now robbing at red lights..

Always be ready to shoot first. Because no matter what it's just a nigger.

You guys know darn well this is very very valid, now what do you do about it?

Stop and take a Xanax?

What's the point of being armed if you're shaking like a faggot and can't handle the weapon, or even draw it?

Cause if you have to draw it, you will already be experiencing a severe adrenalin rush.

[–] 1 pt

Stay on Xanax all the time, then you won't even care about being mugged

I can vouch for this.

Practice. X-10,000, Nothing else takes the place of drawing and hitting a 'target'. I can truthfully say if you get to the 'natural' point of knowing every move of shooting, you will control the adrenaline pump of having to 'act'.

Makes perfect sense really. That's encouraging.
