Why wear a seatbelt if over 99% of car rides are uneventful? Why own a fire extinguisher if you have a local fire department? Why have a medical kit at home if there's a hospital down the road?
Exactly, it's just that the odds of those things compared to guns, it's a little less. It seems, but maybe not.
But of course the main thing is, with guns you're talking about your very life.
So should I get a gun? And if so should I conceal carry? Surely it's a pain.
With a good belt and holster you don't notice it, everyone who cares about their life should carry as often as they can for the sole reason that unpredictable things are unpredictable.
"Expect the unexpected, or you won't notice it when it happens."
Yeah it's maybe like a quality suit, or a pair of boots, the more expensive the more comfortable.
