I should have meant, packing, why pack, period, when the odds are you'll never need to use it.
I'm also wanting to hear everybody here chew me out.
You never need a gun, until you do.
Why wear a seatbelt if over 99% of car rides are uneventful? Why own a fire extinguisher if you have a local fire department? Why have a medical kit at home if there's a hospital down the road?
Exactly, it's just that the odds of those things compared to guns, it's a little less. It seems, but maybe not.
But of course the main thing is, with guns you're talking about your very life.
So should I get a gun? And if so should I conceal carry? Surely it's a pain.
With a good belt and holster you don't notice it, everyone who cares about their life should carry as often as they can for the sole reason that unpredictable things are unpredictable.
