Is that a gun? No this is Patrick.
I need a 3d print file to print a 3d printer.
Oh wait that won't work...
So…no one is worried about firing a round in a chamber built of NOT METAL?
What am I missing here…
22lr
Well ok, sure that’s less pressure than a lot of rounds.. but still seems like a hazard nonetheless. Did someone do the math on this, or did they just assume that the chamber won’t blow up?
There are too many variables in 3d printing to mathematically prove anything
Rifled barrel liners bro. You take a long piece of rifled barrel and slice it down into 6 parts. You can go straight plastic but that shit breaks really quickly.
we printed a silencer for a carbine and it works better than a store bought one.
Interesting, but also not relevant. The suppressor is not withstanding all the initial gas pressure that the chamber does.
The suppressor’s job is to handle a sound shockwave that happens after the initial combustion and is not an integral part of the forearm either working properly or blowing up in your hand, in other words.
What about ammo?
That's purrty
.22lr revolver? You can get those a dime a dozen. Washington wants to ban larger calibers and better weapons. Not some 3d printed over powered bb gun
you wouldnt want to get shot with one
The cops callem jewstoppers
Still lethal though, although not my first choice
I know. I own 2 guns chambered in .22 lr. I am aware of what it can do. Id like to see it in 9mm or .380
.380 is the bare minimum IMO. But then I prefer carbines and AR 'pistols'.
3d print wouldnt be strong enough to handle more than 22lr for more than a few shots
I've heard a .22 with a supressor described as the perfect assassin gun. Even in a crowd it doesn't even sound like a gun, and a hole is a hole.
I wouldn't trust a 22lr to go through a skull.
Supposedly a .22 revolver was the favorite tool of organized criminals. It wouldn't make much noise even without a suppressor and if one of the rounds misfire like most .22s occasionally do, you just pull the trigger again and get a different round. I recall seeing a video where some mafia thugs killed a guy with a .22 revolver, it actually looked surprisingly effective.
we dont all live in the us. here getting a gun requires a ton of paperwork and it ultra expensive.
I cant hear you over muh screaming eagle! Lol jk yeah thats a fair point. How hard is it to get ammunition?
The barrel might also be too short for the all of the powder to burn so you wouldn't even be getting the full power of the round.
Site doesn't load.
Hasnt in a while. The image works tho.
My dumb ass just reread that. I think I understand the instructions now. Thanks for the pic. Didn't realize you could do that with a file.
It's called steganography. Pretty interesting stuff.
Look up "fosscad" there's a whole big pack (multiple gigs) of this stuff and you don't have to bother resaving stuff.
