Yes. Is that all you wanted to know?

I have used Unique (5.2-5.4 grains I think) and Titegroup (4.2 grains). I carry an LC9. Those should put you in the ballpark of 1100fps. Hornady's charts say that bullet is designed to expand between 800 and 1400 fps.

I have had the best luck with Titegroup as it's less sooty and is low flash even from a 3" barrel. Since you are reloading, I would encourage you to experiment to see what works best for your pistol. Chasing factory performance may make you miss a way more accurate load.

The factory 124 xtp custom ammo in this new pistol i bought shoots more accurate than ive ever shot a sidearm, and i shoot a lot. I want to duplicate that shit.

That is awesome! A new pistol that doesn't shoot well out of the gate is a bummer. It will be interesting to see how it works out for you.

Factory makers supposedly use canister powder. It's not exactly the same stuff we can get and they mix massive batches together to make a powder lot. I have been told that as long as I've been reloading, not sure if I believe it 100%.

Titegroup, a little goes a long way. Reloading for self defense is a legal no no. Buy what your local/regional/national police use. I reloaded 9mm awhile back when it was $0.12/rnd, mainly to reload it for "variety of charge" in certain applications. But now its probably worth to reload at these stupid prices.

Calling fudd lore on not carrying reloads.

Ill carry box ammo for self defense. But i want to reload anyway, for practice, or shtf time when legal concerns dont exist. I just bought a 9mm springfield xdm elite precision, 5.25", 22+1, and shot some 124gr hornady custom xtp through it and god damn. New gun, unfamiliar trigger, and it still shot better than any sidearm ive ever shot. And i shoot revolvers a lot, and pistols more than most folks. Super impressed with this gun, and that ammo, and i want to come as close as possible to handloading ammo that will shoot the same. Got a fuckton of those bullets and new starline brass, a thousand primers, just need to figure out which powder would be best to use to duplicate those factory loads. If you dont mind, ill pm you after i chronograph the factory ammo out of my gun. Like i said, new to the reloading game, could use a brain to pick. My dad loads for long range rifle shooting but has never done any pistol loading. Hes a good source of equipment and general knowledge though, but i want somebody who actually loads this stuff, whose brain i can pick. Thanks for the reply. Not a glownigger, promise.
