Growing up I shot all kinds of crazy shit from AR to AK to SKS to Tech 9, but I always loved revolvers. Pops had a Rossi .357 I was dead accurate with at 11 years old, and it barely had a kick. Considering buying a 22 mag off him for cheap but it's bulky, and I always wanted a .38 snub. Brother in law showed me the 2 him and my sister had last night. Ruger and hammerless colt. Of course they say SnW may be the best, but would love suggestions

If you are only ever going to shoot 38 specials, then most of what has been mentioned will work great. I suggest getting a 357 magnum snubby if possible though. They fire 38 perfectly, you gain the ability to use a more powerful round in the same gun, and the little bit of extra weight makes 38 special feel like a 22lr.
