I love lever guns. I have a old Marlin in 30-30.

Two Winchesters here.

box of 7.92x57 from romania, no date, figure its pre-WW2, fires almost everything, may need a double tap to get it going on a few

speaking of primers, i had cci reloading primers from 1980, poorly stored in an attic, then in a basement all those years, thought they were junk, turns out every primer had fired as it should 40 years ago. Reloads from 1980 also went bang every time.

I just paid 3.25 a round for 500 smith lol.

haha, I think it was 4.25 but would have to go look.

I have some shotshells that are maybe 12 years old?

I do love the .30.30 ! I used to have a Winchester model 94. Hate myself for parting with it.

As you should.

Yeah, but one thing I really didn't like was loading it. Pushing the point of one round into the primer of another. Always made me cringe.

30 rnds. Of 8mm Mausers from 1943. No,I don’t want to see if they’re still fireable.

I've got a couple spam cans of old 7.62x54R. If you don't count those, then 10-15 years?

I have a box of my late grandpa's ammo in a drawer with no gun to shoot it with

Sounds like an easy fix. Buy a gun.

It's a heavy box, I was just planning on using it as a heavy blunt object of anyone ever breaks in to my office, but I suppose I could do that....

I gave my grandfather a CZ 52 with some old surplus ammo from the 50s. But I also have a couple 8mm mauser rounds laying around loose I bet they are at least early 70s.

FIL has WWII ammo...but not from the good guys 😔

Pre-Anschluß 8x56mmR with an Austrian eagle stamp and post-Anschluß 8x56mmR with waffenamt marks. That's all I'm willing to say for OPSEC purposes.

Those Super-X boxes used to be everywhere. Everyone had those when I was a kid.
