Neat. One dept i'm familiar with use federal Hydra-Shok 135 gr . Slower and heavier and more succeptable to opening prematurely. Supposedly lower recoil and lower muzzle flash. I hear they are mainly chosen for the low muzzle flash as most police shootings happen at night.
The other dept I'm familiar is using the fed hydra-shock but in .357 sig. They went with that round for the low recoil as the female officers had trouble with the recoil from the 357sig.
I don't know much about 357 sig but it sucks they are fielding rounds based on their equal opportunity force not being able to deal with regular pistols.
Female cops are a terrible idea. Most violent criminals are men and if they get ahold of a chick cop she's most likely not gonna be able to do shit about it.
.357 sig is about the .40 or 10mm, if i recall. What did Hitler say about this, something like "It is unfair to ask a woman to do the work of men because it is more difficult for them." You know, heavy rocks are heavy. Get the muscle head to pick them up.
