The cool thing is we now have stuff like the Mantix and dryfire mag, pact timer and laser stuff as well. It keeps me in shape and costs me nothing but more surprising is I actually don't mind doing it for 1-2 hours straight.

Have you bought any of the dry fire books? Steve Anderson or Ben Stoegers ones? Competition stuff but they are really good.

Yep I have Practical Pistol by Stoeger. It's been years though and could use a reread, thanks for the reminder.

Ben's new book supposedly makes all his others obselete. Practical Shooting Training. It's thick so I haven't finished it but it's a neat concept. It gives different tips, par times, etc for different levels of skill.
