Thats one of the funnier comments I've read for sure

Holy smoking bacon batman! At first, when he started talking, I thought he was just an arrogant prat boasting; then he shot. W.T.F. Also, a well deserved smug look at 0:58
There is a rule in self-defense when you are concealed/open carrying: "Never draw on the drop". This means if someone has the drop on you (they have their gun drawn and pointed at you), do not even try to draw, because the attacker will see what you're doing and pull the trigger faster than you can even get your weapon out of the holster.
It would seem that this rule would not apply to this man. It appears he could put about 5 rounds into an attacker before they even realized he was planning on doing something. Still probably better to wait for a moment when their weapon isn't pointed at him though, since the attacker will probably immediately squeeze the trigger upon being struck/hearing the shot.
Something stands out to me in this video though, makes it seem like this is a joke: THE CAMERA MAN IS STANDING DOWN RANGE, IN BETWEEN THE TWO BALLOONS. Are we being trolled, or were cameramen considered expendable back when this was filmed?
He's firing blanks. They'll pop balloons at that range. So it's partially fake, he's not actually hitting the ballons, he could be 6" off and they'd still pop.
If you watch his other vids, Bob Munden is an expert shooter.
They had remote cameras back then. By remote that means a clunky box attached by heavy wire to the camera.
Edit: good comment on the reaction times. Agreed.
