I do think they’re neat. What confounds me is there’s so much enthusiasm for ‘em, yet everyone things M1 carbines are shit. Doesn’t 30 carbine smoke the fuck outta 9mm?

For me, 556 or even 223 is way overpowered for urban combat. A has all the comfort factor of a rifle but won't level the neighbors place.
