There are a lot of great Turkish guns out there. Go pump only on those. I own a 1300 I use for clays. Do very well with it even amongst better shooters with better guns. It’s a 28 inch though.
From what I've seen most of the Turkish, and chicom, shotguns are Rem 870 derived. If one were to go that route I definitely recommend having it in your hands before you drop a dime. DON'T BUY A CHINK/TURK SHOTGUN SIGHT UNSEEN.
Idk about China, I would avoid, but the Turks have a very long history of being fine arms makers, it’s in their blood, like whiskey to Americans. I’m not kidding, look it up. I don’t care for it myself, but I might buy one if it’s the only thing available. Two names come to mind; Citadel and Dickenson.
Eh, the chicoms make serviceable guns, so do the Turks.
I guess what I'm getting at is for the same money, or a little more, I can buy something that isn't made in an Islamic majority country.
Much the same as I'd rather not spend money on Chinese made stuff if I can help it.
I really only brought them up because OP said he wasn't trying to spend a whole months worth of paycheck and both countries make a serviceable product.
