It will stay beside the door in case of nigger invasion. I will go into the swamp to shoot maybe twice a month. I want something cheap, simple, and reliable. Don't wanna spend a lot of money for something that will probably never be needed. No lasers or gay shit. I like the Rem870P. Thoughts?

I get it dude. I'm not far from a major metro city so I'm thinking about this kind of shit everyday. If you think of anything else just ask, I'll try and help or at least point you in the direction of help if I can.

Just a thought, seriously consider attaching a light to the gun. You really want to know what you're aiming at before you go and paint your walls. The streamlight TL-Racker is affordable and what I have on my 870, they make them for the Mossberg as well.

The light is a good idea, although when I have just been rudely awakened by some nigger coming thru the window, I think I will not have the presence of mind to turn it on..

What's cool about the TL fore end is that you pretty much just squeeze it. It kinda becomes natural the more time you spend with it.
