Fully agree with this. People who don't train with guns think just owning them is some magical talisman. It's like, haven't' you ever been in, or seen a fight and just froze? That can happen if there's a gun in your hand, or on your dresser, or in your safe too.
Something something sink to the level of your training.
It's better to have a few basic firearms and a bunch of ammo then to have a specific and niche gun for every situation and no training with it.
