A buddy of mine who works for Vista says otherwise about artificially inflating prices.
Record ammo sales out of said company. Big bonus, big annual raise, more ammo going out that door than ever before despite the rona, and NOBODY can find ammo? Even gun shops and dealers? I'm not saying vista is doing it. But places like WalMart and so on and so forth are hoarding ammo. They have to be I see so much ammo leave this place
But places like WalMart and so on and so forth are hoarding ammo.
OK, that makes more sense. I can't imagine manufacturers willingly / purposefully not selling products in order to drive up future sales prices. Retailers like Walmart and Dick's? Sure. I can see that easily.
I love the place I work, and I'd hate to see ammo get so expensive people stop buying and then myself or my coworkers have to figure something else out. The people who hate guns can't stop them, and I wonder now if the plan isn't to inflate ammo prices so much that people simply can't afford the sport.
Walmart doesn't sell pistol calibers. And bass pro is now the cheapest in the country and isn't hoarding it either.
Maybe those stores are shipping it to China or warehouses Chinese soldiers can restock at when they invade? Just a thought.
The plot thickens
