did it come with extra cylinders?

[–] 0 pt

Nope. I don’t know that this model ever did. If it did, it could only be a 9mm, in which moon clips would be necessary. I’m not sure that was a thing in 1980 when this one was made.

They are nice to have because the cylinders are the first things to show wear on the gun..they crack after extended use. Its just nice to have....nothing to be worried about unless you plan on an extended fire fight....lol.

Oh, I get it. I don’t shoot that freaking much. Besides, you’d be hard pressed to wear out a Ruger. Won’t happen in my lifetime.

You put that other grip on (pachmayr) it destroys the beauty.

I like the pachmayr grips on my 1911 but I wouldn't put them on that revolver either

Yeah, I don’t care for those much.

I haven’t had a Full size DA revolver in awhile and this came up. I love Ruger, but I don’t care much for the GP100s or the RedHawks so much. This ones cool because they don’t make them anymore, and it’s forty years old and 98%!

Very nice find. Rugers are horrible carry guns due to weight but you can not destroy them. Perfect for reloaders

And they are 30% less than S&W.
