Overloaded? Underloaded bullets cause MORE explosive events like shown ,than overloaded. Putting in as much gunpowder as you want wont increase the explosive force so much that the bullet wont properly exit the jacket and enter barrel. Underloading will, called "squib" . Maybe most .50 cals weigh 40 pounds of metal from support and barrel for a good reason, other than recoil.

squib rounds: bullets that become lodged in the barrel due to an underloaded round are more common that a mythical effect of a overloaded 50 cal round.

My story on recently struck primers going off somehow seconds later is not shown in any of these mishap videos and far more "Final Destination" unfortunate.

I was just hijacking narrative and comingling two unrelated though intersting facts : fact one... a misfire round is dangerous unless you let all the gun cool down before trying to play with misfired round. Fact two, the amount of PSI force estimated in that video is far far far below the PSI level of a fully contained sabotaged .50 round of 200,000 as per CIA and Mil studies and reports from links I provided above. His misfire explosion was not a sabotage, though could have been, but HIS estimation of PSI level was vastly lower than 200,000. I assume his was UNDERLOADED (the opposite of hot) or a bullet that was struck less than 30 seconds prior and restruck, or... his bullet somehow was not properly aligned , somehow deformed in overly narrow rifled barrel, and lodged. Most bullets are ridiculously tight, wider than the actual ungrooved barrel by 0.008 or wider, and tolerances are on the edge : https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/bullets-tightness-in-barrel-and-pounds-of-pressure.508256/

multiple videos of UNDERLOADED gun mishaps: Here are many videos of big time explosions from NOT ENOUGH gunpowder (probably) : https://www.outdoorhub.com/stories/2015/01/22/9-catastrophic-gun-malfunctions-can-learn/

He says in the video it wasn't a squib.
