What the actual fuck. I just can't believe that none of these companies are able to figure out their primer shortage. How difficult is it to make ammo? People can make it at home!

Everyone is talking about Biden's gun bill or whatever, not realizing that without ammo (and affordable ammo to actually practice) gun ownership is pretty much useless. If it costs more than a dollar a round, people will just use guns only for hunting, or will be horribly out of practice and not proficient if they have to defend themselves.

Ammo is as important as the actual weapon.

It's artificially engineered. In the same way there are shortages on lumber and many other goods. Capacity limits exist because of the virus hoax. It is then helping to fuel hyper inflation and goods shortages.

In the case of ammo, hording remains a huge problems. These shitbags only further drive up demand and reduce supply. Add to this, everyone senses the pending war, millions of new gun owners are demanding hundreds of millions of ammo. The numbers grow large very quickly.

Altogether, it's a very bad situation.

How can you call hoarders shitbags in one sentence and then in the very next sentence say we need to stock up for war? Where's the line between hoarder and prudent prepping?

Most of these guys are doing so for price gouging down the road. The term is profiteering. Universally agreed they are shit bags.

That's the nature of having a middle man between the producer and the consumer. The middleman's interests are not aligned with the producer's or the consumer's interests.

He's pissed off as hell that he can't buy any ammo because he didn't have the foresight to stock up.

Do you use the same argument for plywood? Why not?

The dude who has 40 guns and more ammo than he could ever shoot in a decade is keeping other people from getting it.

Usage rate varies. Competitive 3-gun shooters easily go through thousands in a year. The average redneck hunter might go through 100 max. A liberal would say that 1000 rounds is a massive stockpile, when it's just a combat load for 3 people.

As for the guy with 40 guns in his safe, he's just ensuring the people around him will be well equipped whether it's voluntary on his part or not.

The real culprit is the system restricting ammo production and threatening to cut off all future supply.

I do have one particular crazy prepper friend who showed me his ammo stash one time (pre-rona) and I couldn't fucking believe how much he had. Crates upon crates of the stuff in a dozen calibers. He had built custom shelving specifically for it.

Can't imagine how much he has now.

Thing about America is, how many guns & ammo one person has is none of your fucking business.

Your little jealous rant sounds just like the liberal cunts whining about how much money this or that person has and we should take it from him to re-distribute you know, for the common good.

Get bent you little commie!

Until he needs it then he can arm 39 of the correct people.

Maybe I'll help arm those in need when the time comes.

Hoarding?

So, would you consider someone who lived through this in 2008 & again in 2012 buying extra ammo every single trip to the store....every time....because they KNEW a time would come when it was gonna happen again....would you consider that HOARDING.

How about we consider you a DUMBASS for not buying when it was good? ONE YEAR AGO you could buy whatever you wanted at reasonable prices!

Why didn't you put a couple of thousand into your own ammo HOARD instead of whining and bitching about there being no ammo?

Dumbass.

Dumbass. Why do idiots like you have to strawman to make your point? Oh ya, because you're dishonest.

The vast majority of people are not hoarders. Fucking moron. This is already pretty clear in my previous comment along these lines.

So fuck off with your stupidity...

YOU just said most guys like this are looking to price gouge.

I live in Texas. We shoot. We shoot a lot. We have ammo stores that would make some gun shops jealous.

You are the one making asinine statements, while I speak from personal experience.
