Found some 5.56 brass at academy for 62 a round and 58 cents for green tip. Trucks come in M/W/F by me. Doors open at 9am but line starts forming around 6am. Limit of 2 boxes.

Also saw 9mm hollows for 80 cents and 9mm steel casing for 43 bucks for 150 round box. Best deals i have seen in person in a while

Try a local private dealer. I have one that does special orders and consignment. Picked up a bunch of ammmo this year from him, consigned by old folks cashing out. Prices were fair to good, some going rate.

Christ im trying to find n120, h4198, cant get shit. Got my 280gr .429 swift a frames, so i have that going for me. Bullets and brass aint worth a fuck without powder though.

I ended up ordering 500 rounds of 5.56 from cheaperthandirt. And it was not cheaper than dirt. I can't EVER find any .40 S&W ammo though. Even signed up for a trial at bigdaddyunlimited, thinking that because it's like costco requiring a membership to shop there, that less people shopped there and maybe they'd have ammo. Made an account and nooooo, sold out of everything.

Found that link off ammoseek.com. theres also 1000 round lots of jhp for like $825-850, plus 50 round boxes of lead free frangible for about a buck a pop, but the listing is predictably 98% fmj junk.

Bass pro shops. They don't gouge. The problem is finding one with ammo. The one near me has a line every morning at open to get ammo. Luckily I have a few friends that work there so they hide some for me.

Luckyyy. I live near a bass pro and go there occasionally but every time I do they only have some or those obscure big rounds like 6.5 creed and .338 and stuff. All I want is some damn 5.56 and .40 S&W damn it!

But I just ordered some 5.56 from cheaperthandirt. It was $1 per round, but that's better than $1.70 or more per round I guess.

6.5 creed is not a big round, nor is it obscure. Its quite the trendy little cartridge.
