It's just not a hill I want to die on, being a lifelong gun enthusiast. It was a dumb invention that had little to zero practical use. In fact, though I'm pretty much up to speed on most things gun related, before Las Vegas, I never even heard of these things. I'll fight for pretty much anything gun-wise, but not to enshrine some dumb idea created simply to make money for some yahoo. To me, they're just worthless things not really even related to the gun debate, per se, and not worth fighting for.
OK, point taken.
I'm not suggesting that bump stocks per se are the hill to die on. My beef with the law is the fact that it instantly turns once-law-abiding citizens into felons.
I can agree to that. I haven't really even looked into it. But just off the cuff, I could care.
