Will the printing material be able to withstand the force of firing a bullet though?
Apparently, the barrel is still made out of metal, so fuck this fake shit.
Yeah it's not completely 3D printed. Polymer tech isn't there yet. Metal pipe is still readily available and there are guides on how to rifle it for a barrel. You gotta put the work in if you want one of these. It's not like pressing a button a star trek replicator and it shits out your gun.
The barrel is actually a blank steel tube (which you can order online) that uses ECM to make rifling grooves.

Currently you will still need a trigger group but an Airsoft one works just fine, they are working on plans for a 3d trigger afaik. There are current guns that have fired at least 1000rds with no major failures.
Please keep in mind that most of these projects are for Europoors who can't get guns legally.
you know they still sell ready made guns at a store?
still
kek.
can u 3d print bullets? That is what is being withheld.
You can make nitrose from ping pong balls, mold your own bullets but the casing is still a problem. It's also very time consuming.
I personally wouldn't know since I don't even have a printer, I've always just been fascinated at how quickly the tech has progressed.
