Just talking about the glock 43. You can remove the baseplate of the magazine and replace it with deeper options. A +1 just looks like a pinky extension which makes the gun easier to hold. Every extra round (+1 or +2 or +3) makes the grip a little longer. A +1 doesn't really affect how it prints on your waistband.
Does that make sense?
Shield Arm 15 round mag for Glock 43X.
Kinda ruined the ccw aspect of it, but idk what OP plans to do with it?
It doesn't extend any further than the standard round mag of the 43X.
Yes but I'm out of my depth instantly. I have never fired a handgun. This stuff is blowing my mind. I've narrowed it to a cheap Taurus 9mm and then I expect to encounter frustrations no matter what
The taurus G3C (or g2c, but why when the 3 is out) and the G3 (full size) are great pistols. I took the father-in-law to buy his first handgun. He walked out with a G3 on the cheap. ~$259 ish. It's badass. Came with 15 and 17 round mags.
That's top of the list now. Will spend extra on ammo but it isnt available really
I have never fired a handgun.
Go to a gun range and rent one. Make sure to follow the and tell them that you've never shot before, they will be more than willing to help. If they aren't, go elsewhere you don't want to be at that range.
