In 40 years of shooting, I've never had an Auto jammed. Except once a Ruger P85 and that was just recently I was shooting some cheap ammo that I got during this ammo shortage. But that SOB jammed hard. A gunsmith at the range showed me a trick, but you have to be very careful. Have to push the slide back from the front on something hard, preferably on wood.

I've certainly had my share of jams, but normally it's poor quality ammo/gun or during the break in period of a new mag.

Yes, I assumed it was cheap ammo.
